Thanks Sarah for the tip on the sunglasses!! You said they were Von Zipper and I’m assuming you meant the Von Zipper Stache sunglasses. It looks like we have a winner! They are $109.95 on amazon.com. Not too bad! Thanks to all you guys out there for your Jillian tips and I’m so glad you enjoy my blog.

I have an obssession with racer back tanks. I think it’s because with regular tanks the straps are always falling down, plus from behind the racer back tank is more interesting than spaghetti strap tops. I just purchased this frilly blue Ted Baker one last weekend and it inspired me to put a post up with what’s on my wishlist. Check ‘em out, after the jump!

I found Jillian’s black monokini from second pool scene in episode 2! The most difficult part was remembering where in the episode it showed up. (At the end of the scene in which she wears the black and white striped Alice and Olivia dress.) I included the one I’m almost POSITIVE she actually wore, as well as a couple other similar ones for fun.

I’m not saying I found “the ones,” but I did find a couple pairs of black square aviators with metallic detailing and gradient lenses that resemble the ones Jillian wore by the pool in episode 2.

Prior to our San Francisco trip we made dinner reservations through OpenTable for Bin 38 – a wine bar, lounge, restaurant, and we were soon to find out, mingling hotspot in the city’s Marina district. (Side note: making OpenTable reservations is usually a surefire way to nab a great table and increase your chance at excellent food/service.)
Part of the restaurant’s claim to fame is not only its extensive beer and wine selection, but also its menu that pairs a wine AND a beer recommendation with every appetizer, entree and dessert offering. Thank you Taylor for finding the pewter dress Jillian wore in the vault with Wes. I would have to say it was my favorite from the night.
I love the tricky color (metallic? purple? mauve?) and ESPECIALLY love the sequined bust along the sweetheart neckline.
Plus it just looked great on her. No wonder, with a $1,160 price tag I would hope it looks good on!

We got a glimpse of Jillian’s bikinis in the commercials and first episode of The Bachelorette, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the upcoming episodes (key to any reality show’s success: the more hottub and pool scenes the better! Don’t worry I won’t get on my soapbox about how smart, creative, funny shows, while few and far between, seem to get cancelled after one or two seasons and the worthless garbage like the hills and the real housewives of wherever and keeping up with the krazies just…won’t…die…). Sorry, back to the matter at hand! The bikinis!
